Raul Perez is a visual artist from Southern California started his journey in film making after watching the movie, “MAN ON FIRE”. Tony Scott’s Directing style was the main inspiration for Raul’s new path. After watching this incredible film, Raul started doing background work on set, then eventually turned his focus to the camera dept. Raul hung up the directing dreams for awhile until he was approached by his cousin to help with a short film where Raul Co-Wrote, Produced and Directed this soon to be multiple award winning short film including a nomination by the NAACP IMAGE AWARDS for, “Outstanding Short Form”, among other awards throughout the festival circuit. Since this accomplishment, he has gone onto Direct his first feature film titled, “The 4 Points”, which is currently in distribution negotiations. He brings fantasy and reality together to create neat things. His work is sometimes abstract, dramatic, spicy, edgy, fun and chill.
